Christmas Eve

I woke up a little after 7 am and took a shower and got ready for the day. I tried going to church at 10 am but my tummy was grumbling so I watched it in my room. I laid down and took a nap so by the time the Christmas party started at 1:30 pm I was feeling better. I sat between Kris and Eddie and of course Abby sat at the end of the table it is always a pleasure sitting by them. Santa was there and when Arlene came in she got so excited all she wanted was a hug from Santa. It was so sweet and innocent it was one of the greatest things I have seen since being here. We were served a choice of hot chocolate, coffee and water. Santa gave us candy from his bag and we were served cookies and popcorn. We played trivia and I answered all the questions but one. I came back to my room around 3 pm and watched a "Christmas Story" I finally saw the whole movie. Then around 5:15 pm my mom and step-dad came up for free supper at the bistro we all had fleischkuechle fries and tater tots. Then there was people my mom knew there so we stayed longer and took pictures of them.
