Sunday

I woke up at 6 am, but was kind of lazy and didn't take my shower till after I ate. The shower didn't flood today thank God cause cleaning up that water in a wheelchair really sucked. I am worried about Ron he has been sick for over a week and has to stay in his room. I miss him lots he is so kind and caring his smile is contagious and I miss that. I got out of my room and went to church. As we were getting ready to leave the chapel they announced that a group of graduated University of Mary students were going to come sing Christmas carols. They had a surprise for us they made Christmas cookies bless their souls. After the caroling I returned to my room and asked activities to come paint my nails in the early am. Once again I gotta get up early which doesn't matter I get up early anyway. I am going to have my nails painted red this month for the holidays. I have a few gifts for people up here that I gotta figure out when to get them to them. I have been trying to watch the Chiefs game but they aren't doing to well so I am bouncing back to a show and the score. Win or lose I still love my Chiefs. I kind of have heartburn and upset stomach. I have been just laying in my bed relaxing. I met a new lady today she moved in on Monday so she is still adjusting Laura is from a small town farm in North Dakota just like me. She seemed a little nervous but her sister was with her and she relaxed as we visited she even stayed for caroling after church. She was so sweet I will be watching out for her. Tomorrow is the red hat women's group it will be my first time joining so stay tuned tomorrow as I keep Rollin with my oldies!
