Tuesday

I woke up at 6:20 am took my shower so I was ready when the new nurse came on at 7 am so they could change my bandage right away, To my surprise it was my nurse friend Paula. I thought to myself it was going to be a great day with Paula on and Kenny the med aid was on he always has my pills to me on time. I was happy and go lucky until around 9 am when the wound care nurse practitioner Tammy came to my room. She decided we needed to talk about my appointment with the surgeon. Tammy proceeded to tell me they no longer will do antibiotics I have to do surgery or let my life expire (yes I mean die) Tammy was telling me things the ER doctor didn't tell us and was speaking for what the surgeon has to do and what that means for being laid up, but she is no surgeon and she should let the surgeon communicate with me and let me decide from there. I don't need somebody outside of their field try to prepare me. I asked her to leave my room so she called my mom now that pissed me off even more I am 47 years old. My mom is not going to tell me what to do I am my own person. My nurse Paula got me an ativan to calm down my nerves after it kicked in she came and talked to me saying I needed to keep busy and just talk to the surgeon next week Wednesday. After lunch June came and got me for restorative therapy. I rode bike and had her take me to bingo even though I was early I sat at a table with Ron, Sean, John and Elsie we all talked and laughed so loud everybody kept looking at us and Sean must of swallowed a quarter and just kept talking even if we were ignoring him. Saul came and sat at our table after the first game just to visit he gave us a few laughs. I am truly grateful for Ron, John, Elsie and Saul I needed a goo d time cause I was really sad and they made sure it was a great time. I am still a little sad and depressed but I am trying to just make it through my anger and hope tomorrow is a better day. I am in my room getting ready to lay in bed and watch TV . Tomorrow there is church so I will be Rollin with my oldies once again!!
